Protocol 1 of 4 · GDPR

Privacy Policy

1.1 Controller. ContentNorthWorks, 05004, C. Madrigal de las Altas Tor, 4 IZ P05 1, Ávila, Ávila, Spain, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and our copywriting engagements. Supervisory contact: [email protected].

1.2 Data we collect. (a) Requisition voucher fields you submit — name, email, phone, organization, brief notes; (b) technical logs — IP address, user agent, pages viewed, cookie consent state; (c) billing metadata processed by our payment provider when you use the Pay link. We do not process special-category data (GDPR Art. 9) and do not knowingly collect data from minors under 16.

1.3 Purposes & legal bases. Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) for quoting and delivering copy assays; legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for site security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics; consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for non-essential cookies, which you may grant or refuse via the consent banner.

1.4 Processors & transfers. Data is processed by vetted processors under Art. 28 DPA: email delivery, hosting within the EEA/UK, and Stripe for payments. Where a processor operates outside the EEA, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses plus supplementary safeguards. We never sell, rent, or broker personal data.

1.5 Retention. Requisition and contract records: 6 years (Spanish commercial & tax code). Support correspondence: 24 months. Server logs: 12 months. Cookie consent state: 12 months or until you clear it.

1.6 Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection (Arts. 15–21 GDPR), and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Write to [email protected]; we respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or your local EU authority.

Protocol 2 of 4 · Engagement

Terms of Service

2.1 Scope. These terms govern all services provided by ContentNorthWorks — landing page narratives, brand voice systems, SEO content architecture, email sequences, product copy, audits, editorial protocols, ad micro-panels, and retainers — unless superseded by a countersigned statement of work (SOW).

2.2 Quotations & payment. Prices published on the site (for example $450–$1,400 per assay, or $1,800/month retainers) are indicative starting points; a fixed quote is issued after voucher review. Fifty percent (50%) of fixed quotes is due to open the bench; the balance is due on delivery of final files. Payments are processed via our Stripe settlement link; invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless the SOW states otherwise.

2.3 Delivery & revisions. Turnaround estimates (3–14 business days by assay, plus expedited tiers) begin after receipt of brief materials and any kickoff payment. Each fixed quote includes the revision rounds listed on the assay card; additional rounds are billed at €65/hour. Delayed client feedback extends timelines day-for-day.

2.4 Intellectual property. Upon full payment, all worldwide rights in the client-specific deliverables — final copy, outlines, voice handbooks commissioned under the engagement — transfer to you. ContentNorthWorks retains ownership of pre-existing frameworks, templates, rubrics, and generic methodology. We may reference your brand name in a portfolio unless you opt out in writing; confidential briefs are never published.

2.5 Client warranties. You warrant that materials you supply (product claims, testimonials, data) are accurate and lawful, and that you hold rights to them. You approve final copy before publication; regulatory claims in regulated sectors (health, finance) remain your compliance responsibility.

2.6 Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ContentNorthWorks' aggregate liability under any engagement is limited to the fees paid for the relevant assay. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or algorithm changes outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.

2.7 Termination & law. Either party may terminate for material breach with 10 days' written notice if the breach remains uncured. Accrued fees for work performed are payable on termination. These terms are governed by Spanish law; disputes fall to the courts of Ávila, Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you act as a consumer.

Protocol 3 of 4 · Storage

Cookie Policy

3.1 What cookies are. Cookies and similar technologies (local storage) are small files stored on your device to remember preferences and measure usage. Under the ePrivacy Directive and Spanish Law 34/2002, non-essential cookies require your consent.

3.2 Strictly necessary. Session and security cookies required to serve pages, remember your cookie-banner choice, and protect forms against abuse. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off via our banner without breaking core functions.

3.3 Consent-gated storage. If you accept the floating consent banner, we may set analytics cookies (for example page-view counts, referrer source, anonymized location) stored under the key cookie_accepted in your browser's localStorage for up to 12 months. Your choice persists across visits on that device until you clear site data.

3.4 Third-party cookies. Embedded maps (Google Maps) and the Stripe checkout opened from the Pay link may set cookies under their own policies when you interact with them. We do not enable advertising or cross-site tracking pixels by default.

3.5 Managing cookies. You can withdraw consent by clearing site data in your browser settings, or block cookies entirely via browser controls. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent the contact form and consent banner from working correctly.

Protocol 4 of 4 · Reimbursement

Refund Policy

4.1 Cooling-off for consumers. If you are an EU consumer and purchase at a distance, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of payment (Directive 2011/83/EU / RDL 1/2007). To exercise it, email [email protected] with your payment reference; approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of your notice.

4.2 Unstarted assays. If bench work has not begun (brief not yet ingested, no draft delivered), you may cancel a fixed-quote engagement at any time and receive 100% of amounts paid for that assay, less any non-recoverable third-party charges (for example paid panel-survey fees already commissioned).

4.3 Partial work. Once research, drafting, or panel testing has started, refunds are pro-rated for undelivered phases only. Rush/expedited surcharges are non-refundable after work commencement.

4.4 Dissatisfaction with delivered work. Deliverables include the revision rounds stated on the assay card. If a genuine brief-spec mismatch remains after those rounds, we will rework the affected section once at no cost. This is an exclusive remedy for quality disputes on delivered work; it does not limit statutory rights.

4.5 Retainers & subscriptions. Monthly copy retainers renew each billing cycle and may be cancelled before the next cycle date; the current cycle is non-refundable once the cycle has begun. Unused retainer hours do not roll over beyond 30 days.

4.6 How to request a refund. Email [email protected] from the address used on the requisition voucher, subject line “Refund request · <Sample ID>”. Include your payment receipt. We acknowledge within 2 business hours and resolve approved requests within 5 business days.
